San Diego Sarang Church
Born in Korea & raised in America, I am a grateful bilingual Korean-American who gave her life to Jesus Christ in February of 2010. Though I grew up with Christian friends and did “Christian” activities throughout my youth, I personally started pursuing Christ only 5 years ago as a college student. Now I can confidently say that it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.
As I die to myself each moment that I breathe, Christ never fails to shepherd my past, present and the future.
As I followed Christ these past few years, I genuinely believed and thought that I'd be a missionary in North Korea after college. I changed my major, prepared to go into full-time ministry, and wrestled with my parents.
However, when it was time for me to act, God had a different plan for me, a plan that was far more greater than I've ever imagined.
His call was clear - “Min, be eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit” [Eph 4:3].
As I began to obey God’s call for unity, God began to build UCSD InterMinistry and Jerusalem of the East Prayer Project.
