UCSD InterMinistry

God blessed UCSD with 40+ registered Christian fellowships and churches actively serving the Lord on campus. However, because of this great number, it is very difficult to “eagerly maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” [Eph 4:3] as a bigger body of Christ.

Back in early 2000s, student leaders from few ministries decided it was time to collectively work together to represent Christ as one body. They led their respective communities to fast, pray, worship, and evangelize together. Fast-forward 15 years, this effort disbanded as each ministry became busy with their own agendas. As a student and an alumnus, I’ve networked with different ministry leaders the last 2 years. Almost every leader acknowledged the importance of unity, but didn’t have the time nor the strategy to live it out on campus.

After a year of fasting and prayer, I’ve decided to dedicate the next 3 years of my life to rebuild the forgotten UCSD InterMinistry, firmly believing that God desires these bodies to unite to advance His kingdom effectively at UCSD.
